The Metaboli Player (game manager)
Programming the download of multiple games
1 – Adding games to a download queue
You need to choose your first game from the selection on the site – click download to start the download.
Then, select a game, click on it, and when on the game page, click on "download"..
In the "Download" column, click on "On" to put the game in the list that you want to download and then on start to start downloading a game.
The player then appears in your task bar and will display a message stating that your game is downloading.
You can do this as many times as you like. To, for example, download 10 games overnight. Once one game has finished downloading, the next in the list will automatically start.
2 - Management of the download queue
From the site:When you are in the "My Games" section, you can prioritise the games that will be downloaded, giving priority to a game over one that is already downloading, for example.
You can do this by clicking on the blue arrow (up) or the blue arrow (down) in the Priority column.
From the player: You can prioritise the order by left clicking on the Player icon in the taskbar and clicking on "Open the Player options". The Player will open itself on the "Installed applications" tab and the programmed titles will be there, identifiable by their small blue icon.
Let's come back to the small green icon that goes in your taskbar during downloads. It can let you:
- Cancel the actual download letting you download the next game in the queue
- Open the Player options
- Open the Player in advanced mode
- Quit the Player
