 Communication of new, removed and problem games
Hi,
Before the interface change, I was playing Singles 2. My favourite games list has disappeared with the change and I'm in the process of putting things back. Now I can't find my game any more.
Has Singles2 been discontinued?
Is it possible not only to include new games in the news, but also cancellations and known issues?
Thank you
//AndyB

 Re: Communication of new, removed and problem games
It has been removed for new customers but not old, however you might not have a way of finding it, do you have it still installed? and if so check my post on how to update your shortcuts as with the upgrade the old shortcuts dont work. I do have a couple of removed games installed and they show on "my games" list in my account. If you have none of these let me know and Ill get it sorted for you

 Re: Communication of new, removed and problem games
"Known issues" is a tricky one as many issues are specific to individual, or small groups of users. Announcing something as a "known issue" would scare people away when they might not actually have a problem.
They do already announce times when games are brought down for major upgrades, or when they need to shuffle things around on the servers.
It does bug me that games can occasionally get removed from the service, but it has always been due to the publishers requesting they be removed for their own stupid reasons - Metaboli wouldn't do it themselves, there would be no point. They have, so far as I can remember, always allowed anyone who has already downloaded the game to continue playing - although that got a little messed up with the changes to the icon's when the site changed.

That would explain it! According to the info on my profile I joined this month OK, I'll see what happens when I update the shortcuts - and carry on reading. /AndyB

I think the "joined this month" thing is just for the Forum's not the games - everyone got the join date of when they transferred the Forum's across.
