Re: Might And Magic Heroes VI PROBLEMS :(
- Minimal: NVidia GeForce 8600GTS, ATI Radeon HD 2600XT, both with 512MB of VRAM
- Recommended: NVidia GeForce 8800GTX, ATI Radeon HD 3870 both with 1 GB of VRAM
The video card has to have/support:
- Minimum 512 MB of Video RAM - Vertex Shader 3.0 - Pixel Shader 3.0 - Vertex Texture support with R32F or R16F format - Render Target support with R32F and G16R16F format
You may very well have played other games using this card and they may have run on minimum settings but that does not mean your card is supported by this game.Other games might have only used shader model 2.0 or maybe the other games used less video ram.
The game has an engine inbuilt to check what graphics card is being used.If the card is not supported the game will not run and i don't think there is a way around it

Re: Might And Magic Heroes VI PROBLEMS :(
your Graphics card is too old for this game, the game requires graphic capabilities that your card doesn't support, sorry but there isn't anything you can do to get the game running with your current card, time for an upgrade, your card is six years old that's a long time in the PC gaming world you cant stand still spec wise for to long other wise you just end up finding stuff you cant run like this one. there is a site i use that will check your system specs and tell you if you can run a game with them or not it's pretty good http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/ it will save you the time downloading a game that you may not be able to run with your current card.

you can't play this game at the moment Ubisoft are setting up a new server centre and such have shut down their servers, this happened on the 7th Feb and as yet there isn't a time or day as to when they will be back up, there is a list of games on the ubisoft website which you can and cant play during the down time, unfortunately Heroes might and magic VI is one of the games you can't play, will just have to wait until they are back up again when ever that maybe. here's a link to the news http://static2.cdn.ubi.com/transition/details/
