Hi everyone,

I've saw the new CSI 6 on Metaboli, it has been on the Upcoming games list for ages! I have been waiting for months, shreding my skin. Waiting for this bone-shrilling detective game to come out!

Would anyone know when it's coming out? It's now Publisher approved, but the wait could be anytime!

Just because a game has appeared on the coming soon list does not guarantee it will actually make it to the service.

When getting a game the meta team need to encode the game to work with the player.As im sure you can understand this can be a complicated time consuming process.In some situations it could be that the game's publishers are bought out by a different company or maybe go bust etc.There might be all sorts of complications with the ageement between meta and the games publishers at times.

Now ofcourse im not saying that this is going to happen in this case im just merley pointing out there can be unforseen situations when games are added to the coming soon list that means they might not make it to the service.

As for when it is likely to arrive i can't answer that as i don't work for meta.Im sure they will do their best to launch it as soon as possible though.

as bifta says the coming soon list is just a guide as to what games Metaboli hope to have on the service it's not set in stone in any way, games that appear on the list sometimes never end up coming to the service although that is rare.

in the case of the CSI one it could be that there was a issue with the game at the testing stage and such they need the publisher to make changes or updates so it will work with the service, or the rights for hosting the game were dropped or changed hands and need to be re-negotiated again. who knows hopefully it will be released on the service at some point but there is no guarantee.

I just asked our guys and they will make CSI 6 a priority to release it here in the next 2-3 weeks or so, taking care of the packaging and everything. So hang on a little longer and you will be able to enjoy the game very soon
