have you tried asking for help instead of threatening refunds, i see this is your first post so clearly you haven't bothered, there are a few members on here that are willing to take time out to help if asked for it ( nicely) or there is official support via email at support@metaboli.co.uk

yes i have sent an email, but clearly you know i didnt, u being all knowing n all, but most importantly i dont see when a service is paid for that one should need to engage others for support, for there should be no need of it, of course if the service provided is worth anything that is, besides my time gaming is limited, so id like not waste it on fruitless endeavors

You may very well have sent an e-mail to official support but in no way have you asked for help in the forums. In fact your first post here was to whinge and not request help.

As tera pointed out to you there are members here that do take the time and trouble to help other members when it is asked for in an appropiate manner.

I really don't understand why some people can't be bothered to take the time and trouble to ask in the forums for help rather than just show up for a whinge. The forums are often the fastest place to recieve help as officail support don't work weekends. As much as it might surprise you official support do require some time off too you know.

One does not need to but one might just get the help needed faster if one does and does so in a respectful manner.

and this does not strike me as very respectful when all Tera was doing was offering to aid you with the issue you have.

Your time may be limited but then so is mine and tera's.The service is far from fruitless as i can play pretty much all the games here without issue.I have been a member here for a few years now and in that time have come across 2 games that did not work on my system. This was due to my system not being compatible with the games i was trying to play.

In hind sight it would have been a far more constructive experience for you if you had come on to these forums asking for a little help rather than slating the service and a member that tried to help you.I can understand that you might be a little frustrated if a game or games are not working for you but to my way of thinking there is no reason to come here and kick off before you have given either the community here or official support a proper chance to help you.In order for any one to offer you some constructive advice one would need to know the exact issue you were having. One would need to know which games were giving you trouble, the operating system you were using, specs of your system and as much info about the issue as possible.

You won't get an official reply from support until they are back in the office on monday.

Perhapps you can use this experience to learn from.Perhapps you can learn to graciously ask for help next time rather then whinge. You never know had you done just that your issue may very well have been resolved by now.Lots and lots of members have had their issues resolved this way in the past so what makes you think it would not have been that way for you!

well said, but im not very forgiving of such things, id just rather cancel my service and be done with that, ive sent the email to do so, however have not recieved any confirmation. have read many others have had problems with the site on similar issues, I should have done the research on the site in advance, thats what ive learned from this little experience and you say your time is valuable too, i wont agure that point, however i've noticed you and the other fellow have posted numerous times on these forums and also noticed that anyone with anything negative to say are hounded by you and the other one, I speculate you may be an employee of metaboli, if not an owner, i posted about the poor service to reach out to others, so theyd know they werent the only ones with complaints

Im not an employee of metaboli im a customer just like yourself.I have been a customer here for around 4-5 years now.If i was an employee do you not think i would have replied to your e-mail rather than inform you that no one from official support will be in the office until monday morning? How good would i be at my job if i just let a customer suffer with an issue and did not try to help them if i was an employee. How would that be good for the company? All metaboli employees on these boards have meta in front of their names.

Hounded?I can assure you i have never hounded anyone on the service.Im sure if you checked out my posts you would have seen that the majority of my posts are in the help section of the forums.Over 70% of the 1200 posts i have made in these forums is in that section.I therefore offer constructive advice on trying to aid people with their issues. The reason i do this is because i get a little satisfaction out of helping people troubleshoot their issues.

I can at times defend metaboli when i feel that people have posted things that are in my opinion not correct.Let's face it if people that were happy with the service never posted with positive feedback then potential customers for metaboli would never see any positive feedback along with the bad.

I have nothing against you or anyone else that has posted here and in no way do i mind people posting critisims of the service.I would just prefer that they do so in a constructive manner. When that critisim is not constructive i tend to post what i consider to be constructive feedback on the way that person has posted. Most people that are unhappy with the service tend to post when angry and don't give their post any real thought. It therefore comes across as not being constructive.Nobody ever benefits from rants. The service never really gets to learn why the customer is angry and the customer never really conveys what they truly think. How can a service evolve and learn what is important to customers if constructive feedback is not offered?

I just like you am entitled to my opinion of the service.

Yes there are others that have had similar issues to yourself but as far as im aware all of those others have had their issues resolved as they have stopped posting. As im sure you are aware pc's can be complicated things so trouble shooting is nessecary at times.

Im still somewhat amazed that you have not taken the time to post what your issue was.Surely it is better to post looking for a little help than it is to bury your head in the sand.?

That being said my purpose was not to argue with you.It was to try and find out what issue you had incase i could offer some constructive advice. You obviously don't want my help so won't hear from me again

I stated where you could get help instead you rather insult me and bifta, fair enough it's a members forum where your free to express your opinions, just be aware i wont offer you help you blew your chance as i'm sure you have with bifta, both bifta and myself have been here nearly 5 years we know the service that Metaboli offers and what it takes to get things going service wise, I cant speak for bifta but my PC experience is nearly twenty years now i know a thing or two how to get games running hence why most of my posts are in the Help forum because i know how much a pain in the backside PC gaming can be at times.

You may have issues that happens you may wish to express your issues that's fair enough but rather than ask for help or express them in a constructive manner you instead whined and insulted that's hardly a mature way to go about things, any way i have said what i wanted to say and wont be responding or offering my assistance to you, i bid you farewell.

Update.
recieved conformation of cancellation a couple of days after request, which im satisfied with.

Metaboli difinitely has a few bugs and isnt quite ready for the weekend warrior gamer, or at least so in my opinion , however that said, there are people here willing to help at a drop of a hat, that does make a difference but not an adequate difference, will perhaps take another look at the site in a year or two to see if bugs have been worked out.

Difinitely a viable prospect for the future of gaming in the works here.
