 Just saying hi
Hey there everyone, I think this is a great site! alot of games especially in the RPG and RTS section that I've either fully enjoyed playing but sold off to buy new games or games I've been eager to try but didn't want to pay over £15-£40 for them! I think this is a great idea and have been waiting for something like this for a long time, I only wish Steam would do similar since they're packed full of games. Anyway, great site, I hope it gets more games soon and some more upto date ones.

 Re: Just saying hi
Hi and welcome to the service.
There are a few new games released here every week. Some devolopers still dont see the benefits of a subscription service like this but meta do try where possible to get games. We do see some very close to the official release date too.Meta also try where possible to get games that are requested by members.
I dont think steam is likely to start a similar service. At least not in the short term.Metaboli also have a download to own service called gametap.
Part of the beauty of meta is you can try games that you would not normally play at no extra cost.I have tried a few real gems as a result of this. You can also download a game while playing a game from the service at the same time so downloading games that you would not normally try does not even cost you your time.To do so simply launch the game you want to play then alt/tab back to the desktop and start to download a game. Then maximize the game allready launched
Hope you enjoy the service as much as i do
Happy gaming

The download to own service is very very slow though be warned because you can be waiting anything upto 48 hours to get your game code to play it.
As for the rest of the site I was a paid member since around 2008. can't say I really had any problems, I left because they weren't getting or couldnt get the games I wanted to play so left for the time being. I'll be back once I'm bored of the others.

Hi Heroes War!
What do you mean by very very slow? Download speeds are top notch for me (at home, not even at the office) so please explain what went wrong for you?
Thanks!

I dont think he's referring to the downaload speeds just the time it can take for the security checks to receive the activation keys etc.

Of course, indeed, it could be a reference to the fraud check that we had to put in place in order to combat theft.
You wouldn't believe how sneaky and devious ID thefts can be.

Yeah pretty bad i had my card and other details etc on there, everyone i know that has a PSN account and has bought stuff from their store has gone and changed their cards just to be sure nothing can be taken via them, many of them say they will buy prepaid PSN cards from now on rather than risk their CC details. the bigger issue though is identity theft than CC fraud as that can easily be rectified with a new card, it's hard to prove that you didn't take out a multi thousand pound loan in your name when they have all your details.
