 XP SP3
Has anyone managed to download XP SP3 yet it's available via the windows update service and i have tried to download it but it's doing nothing on the download part.. it did take a while to prepare the download. i have canceled three times now but still no luck. [:-/]Edit.. seems to ok now must have been a clitch on the MS servers, although there was no download status just the router lights blinking to say it's downloading something. didn't take long either only had 69MB to download, must admit it does seem a little smoother and faster even though MS said that's not what the SP was for, so far so good. Re: XP SP3
As far as I can see there is nothing of any consequence in SP3 that hasn't already been released as normal incremental updates. All of the new functionality relates to network and security issues that are of little or no consequence to stand alone systems.

Reading forums online etc many are saying that there are small perfomance increases, even benchmarks showed it to be, i have to say myself i have found it to be a little smoother and faster, not by much but enough to notice a little difference, Even if MS didn't plan it to be that way it's good that it is.
