I tried a couple of compatabilities but they don't work.

I have found a solution on the official website forum.

It is a general problem with win 7 and this game that the mouse freezes on start or keeps vanishing during play.

Heres the work around;-

Go to Personalize-->Display-->change this to small(100%)
log off and log back on.
start game as normal

After doing this mine fired up first time and is running perfectly.

What operating system are you using?

The games own page does not state it is win 7 compatbile is why i ask.Of course this does not mean it won't run on win 7 but it might have issues with win 7.

When you say u ran the files from the games own page did you do all of them?

Including direct x 9.If using vista or win 7 you will need dx9 installed along side direct x 10 or 11.Installing dx9 won't stop the other versions of direct x running it will just work along side them.

You could try pressing tab until you see a cursor in the text field for the key.Usually pressing tab makes windows goto the next item so this might help you to enter the key.

You could try setting the game to run with admin rghts or in compatability mode for an older operating system.To do so go to the folder where the game is stored.If the player was installed using a default install it will be in C:\Metaboli\Games.Go into the games own folder and right click the games exe/application file and choose properties.Then choose the compatability tab and put a tick in run as admin.If that does not help put a tick in run in compatability mode for and then choose an older operating system from the drop down list.Apply the change each time and try to launch the game from the web site again.If it does not help then revert the settings to thier original state.

it installs
it runs the intro
then it goes to the key screen and the mouse is frozen in the middle left of the screen
had a look around but found nothing about this. So I can't even enter the key.

yes have downloaded and run the other required files from the download page.

the sound works

I use a Phenome with a raedon 6500 plus 8GB ram
should be just enough to run it!
config was custom builtand tested less than a quarter ago
by reputable company

I did tell it I had a raedon when it asked the question during download

Any suggestions?
