i used to play a lot of dow and dow2(stopped cos i only play games at max res with all effects maxed and had to reboot my system with 3gb switch every time),
have u ever tried xfire? works with most 64 metaboli games too.
A lot of people i know arrange the games over xfire rather than live as u can use it on desktop before u play, and then u can IM, voice chat, record, show fps, even broadcast a game is your system can hadle it.
Live was great(dispite early bugs), but when they changed the desktop app, it ruined it, cos u can only see who is playing at the time , where as xfire has everyone online most of the time on dektop and ingame. I never log out, becuase it uses so little bandwidth, cpu and ram(on newish systems anyway)
If u give it a try, add me, my username below, and i can link u to friends who play a lot or even get u in a clan if u wanted.
I left my clan as they were a bit too intense, they do training days and all sorts to try get everone to be the best they can. I just didnt have the time but if u really like the game then an xfire clan is the way to go.
Same with all newer 64bit metaboli games i have installed, im speaking to riddick 2 players about now we are going to set up a multiplayer now.
