Re: My gamelist is gone
Can you please provide the list of games you have downloaded? To do this, please right-click on the Player icon on your tray bar, select "Settings" then "Change game download location". You will be able to see your games'installation folders. http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/80 ... 50854.jpg/In particular, it would be helpful if you could mention the last game you tried to add to your download list before this issue appeared. Thanks, Marco

[/quote]Well said and all perfectly valid but the difference is that you are a coder. A lot of people on this site will not be and do not expect to have to do a full oil change, piston ring clean and handbrake adjust before leaving their garage each day.[/quote] is precisely the problem. I do not want a car that I have to make the coupon every day before you leave! 90% of people gets into the car, turn the key and leaves. Not all mechanics are able to do this coupon. I hope I explained myself. However, thanks to everyone who tried to help P.S. i'm sorry for my bad englis but i'm italian

Re: My gamelist is gone
Hi guys, For those experiencing the issue: can you please give us your game list and do you know which was the last game you downloaded? If it's what we're thinking about we're aware of the issue and were even able to reproduce it. We're trying to find a definitive solution. You can still try to fix this like that > - Uninstall the Metaboli Player (d o NOT uninstall any game when asked if you want to) - Run the script that you can download at: http://dl.metaboli.fr/yummy/yummy_delete.bat However, this will delete all Yummy folders, so if your games have been stored inside one of these, you risk to lose them: - C:\Users\[yourname]\AppData\Local\Temp\Yummy Interactive INC - C:\Users\[yourname]\AppData\Local\Yummy Interactive INC - C:\Users\[yourname]\AppData\Local\Yummy Log again and go back to your My games section where you will be asked to reinstall your Player. Once done, the games should reappear.

My system is working again now and I will be staying because I like Metaboli. I also genuinely appreciate the support given on this forum: without this forum I would have been long gone! Bottom line is that Metaboli is an excellent service when it works but when it doesn't, and that is quite often, then it is the most infuriating of things: it seems to hit every raw nerve possible.

Re: My gamelist is gone
All I can say is I'm amazed so few people are having issues with the service. As a Web Developer (Specifically, a C# desktop, web-plugin, and web-service developer) I know just how hard it is to make things work using something you've written yourself simply to display the right website for the user. Metaboli are using a third-party system - note that, they haven't written the Yummy player, they licence it from Yummy - which has its relatively minor stability and management issues. Yes, I say relatively minor, because it's something that you can fix with basically a re-install. I'm sure they're putting as much pressure on Yummy to fix these issues as we're putting on them to get them sorted - but bear in mind that this is an immensely complicated system. There are many things interacting here - the OS (XP/Vista/Windows 7), the browser (IE/Chrome/Firefox/Safari/Opera), the version of Java installed, the specific game, the users permissions levels (UAC on/off; local administrator/not)... add to that the additional thought that even in one browser, things change significantly from version to version, and you've potentially thousands of combinations of the major features. Then add in the graphics card family (Intel/AMD/Nvidia), Graphics card driver version, sound card, network type (wired/wireless), DirectX version, PhysX and all the other combinations and features... Throw into the mix the additional frustration of Windows Updates, which change the operation of features depending upon security concerns... Another thing to think about is the fact that these are community forums. They're not specifically for Metaboli to assist - though they have done; they're for user-to-user assistance. The support e-mail address is for Metaboli assistance, and they're reasonably good at responding to that. I'm prepared to knock bad service when I see it (Don't get me started on T-Mobile, O2 or BT), but from Metaboli I see a small company who's doing a decent job. I should know - I work in a small company who's likes to think it's doing a decent job
