We've asked Ubisoft for the patch, which is indeed huge (1.3 Gigs) and thus might take some time to get implemented here, as don't forget we have to work on all different versions at the same time and not only the UK one.

Sorry about this, but we're working on it.

Cheers man , The patch which is enormous ( 1.3g) didnt work but deen the game in Morrisons for £4 earth pounds , so no biggie after all

To start with when meta publish games for this service they are reliant on what version they are supplied by the games distributor/publisher. In other words if they provide meta with version 1.2 and they then release an update shortly after then meta have to wait for them to supply the patch to meta officially.As im sure you are aware meta are bound by copyright etc so they are forced to use the version they are provided with.

Having said that the yummy player does allow for manual patching.Now this might not work with all games but it does for some.You could try taking a backup of the game folder and placing it in a different location on your hard drive.Then manually patch the game and see if it works.If it does not then you can always revert back to the backup.

Meta do where possible try to acquire the latest versions of games.Prehapps if your patching does not work for this game then meta will try and get the latest patch.Just bear in mind meta's hands are tied somewhat in this circumstance.

If you do decide to backup and then manually patch the game let us know how you get on with it.

If you find it can't be updated you could try asking meta if they can get hold of the latest patch.Im sure they will at least try to if asked.

From personal experience i can tell you they do try to get the latest patches where possible and also try to get games that members ask for.Myself and others have requested games in the past and meta have added them to the service as a direct result of being asked.

I cant play with my mate who has a retail version of the game and the latest patch.

Game says versions dont match. Why cant we have the latest patch for this game which is 1.12 me thinks.

I think i am running 1.10, tried patching myself to 1.12 but the patch says ," lookes like you have a steam version of the game and running the patch may corrupt the game data"


Do i need to buy the game??
