Hi guys.. now that Stalker has been converted to 64bit compatibility and such now uses the Yummy player i thought i would download the complete 2009 mod which you can find here

For thoses that dont know the mod updates the game to 2009 levels of Graphical quality, shaders etc that were used in Crisis were used, hi res textures, new weather system as well as day / night cycle plus many other enhancments and bug fixes that the official patch didn't have were all added, to many to list here but you can see what they are in the link provided.. the mod is 660MB in size so not that big.
Any way i can confirm that the mod works with the Yummy player so if anyone wantts to give it a look by all means do so ( i highly reccommend you do as it really looks great).. just copy the mod into the stalker folder and run it, there is also a patch that needs to be downloaded and installed as well which you can get from the above link under the download button..
IMPORTANT DO THE FOLLOWING FIRST BEFORE INSTALLING THE MODbefore installing the mod back up the following file
fsgame.LTX which will be found by going to C: > Metaboli > games > Stalker ( this is for Vista / win7 for Xp users it will be different i cant remember What the folder path is i'm sure a XP user can post what it is)
when you install the mod and patch that file gets modified and when you run the game yummy for some reason deletes the modified version and you get a error of not being able to open it which of course you can't because the file is no longer there.. all you need do is copy back the backed up file ie the unedited one back into the Stalker folder and the game will run.
The patch the patch comes in a zip file so you will need to unzip it into the main stalker folder it will create a folder there called stalker_complete_2009_patch, to apply the patch just go into the patch folder . then the gamedata folder and copy all the folders that are there into the gamedata folder that is located in the main stalker folder you will be asked if you want to replace the folders and files say yes.
that's it your all set to go and can now enjoy the game in it's enhanced form..
