did you install the required software listed on the divinity 2 page, the game requires directX 9 to run as do practically most of the games here, Vista and windows 7 do not come with directX 9 installed so if you haven't done so yet download and install it, the link is on the divinity 2 page.
you also need PhysX installed, if you have a Nvidia graphics card then physX will be part of the Nvidia driver software as long as it's up to date so you shouldn't need to download it, if you are using AMD Radeon graphics card you will need to download the physX drivers, the link for is on the divinity 2 page.
the game also requires VCredist 2005 installed, if your running Vista or windows 7 64 bit then install the VCredist 64bit if your using 32bit OS such as XP or even vista / win 7 then install the VCredist 32bit, DO NOT INSTALL BOTH links for them are on the Divinity 2 page.
if after doing the above or if you have done so already and the game still wont play, post your system specs and any error messages than may appear and myself or one of the other members that help out will see what we can do to get it going as long as it's not a issue with your system specs being under par we cant do nothing about that.
