Hi there, and happy to see you've joined us!

Don't get your hopes too high tho, as we won't have any Bethesda games here before a very very long time, if ever...I'm sorry to say!

In the meantime, enjoy the approx 650 games we have :)

Thanks hehe I am more than happy with the selection and going on a marathon of M&M now :)

Re: Do not buy this service!
Saw you also found your solution to the problem ;)

Yes cancel around 8 days before its due, its only to process it and for the banks to register it (they can take a long time doing this like everything else they do, even though really its just a push of a button it takes a week for them to do it just like paying in a check.)

As for Fallout, Bethesda arent likely to put any of thier games on here.. though I imagine they would make a killing due to the amount of time you can put into playing them and thier replay value. I already plan about 6 playthroughs of Fallout NV ;)

I mean Oblivion and Fallout have at least 20 hours each, with that increasing depending on the individual gamer. I personally do 200+ on these games as I like to explore, not to mention play from different perspectives.

ie in NV I got my initial playthrough doing things how I would normally, 2nd run Im going to play as Pete the Butcher (anyone who listens to the in game radio in FO would understand this one, essentially a murderer/canibal which does work wel in some parts of the game), a sniper specialist, Dakka (miniguns and the like), Science geek, Diplomat.

Re: Do not buy this service!
I only joined this week as here are some great titles on here! I read the T&C and understand how to cancel and best to do 8-10 days before subs due?

Whats the issue surly if you signup to a service and give your CC details you do read these things lol

I have downloaded 12 games so far and have issues with 1 not working (Which I have posted about and seeing advise)

for me this is a great source of entertainment and as soon as they get fallout 3 and new vegas even better lol

Re: Do not buy this service!
Might as well add my two pennys worth.

I was starting to think along the lines of it not being a good service, I had problems with games not playing after download, so I cancelled my subscription only a day after subscribing. I got a confirmation email saying the subscription had been cancelled half an hour later.
I am now going to have to re-subscribe as it was a problem with my computer that was causing the games not to play and nothing to do with the metaboli service. Check my posts if you dont believe me :). There are lots of games on here that I havent played, and games that I want to play again or didnt get to finish the first time around. If your an rpger, like myself, then there is plenty to keep you going.
So unsubcribing is easy, but dont blame Metaboli and rant like I did when things dont go your way straight away, it 'could' be something you've done or not done.

Happy gaming.

Re: Do not buy this service!
Pretty much more along the lines as the others have stated really from me

There are admittedly older games on the service but there are plenty that have been released within a few weeks of official release. Some of those said older games are pure classics too and allways fun to revisit.

Do you really think it's possible to have your cake and eat it without a fliptop head and a shovel??.Well it is possible here with access to over 650games for less than the cost of a couple of pints down the local pub.

Re: Do not buy this service!
Old Games.. sure there are plenty of older titles here but thats because metaboli rarely remove any games from the service.

Since Ive been here theres been a load of games come out as Day1 releases.. plenty more within 3 months of retail release, all Ubisoft titles for example are released here 3 months after UK retail release.

Theres even been a few before retail release, I joined because of a game that was on here 2 months before its UK release date.

Re: Do not buy this service!
Not to mention AAA titles like The Witcher, already announced as coming around a month after release... Assassins Creed came pretty quickly after release, so I'm expected Brotherhood on here (Already bought the game, but hey! :D).

That, however, isn't really something to criticise the service for - they never hide their release schedules (The release forum is publicly viewable), coming soon, current games list; prior to purchase you have a chance to see what was there already, and whether you'd like to continue in that vein. Caveat Emptor - and if you don't do your research, who's at fault?

Stoked: Released on day 1
Cities XL: Within 4 months of launch (if I remember rightly)
Many others that I can't remember off the top of my head have been launched within months (as in, 4 or less) of launch, and some within weeks. If you want instant gratification, well, that's not Metaboli's problem... Not to mention they have to cater for various people with various wants for gaming.

Also, if you're waiting for the "biggest and best" (and even then, that's debateable), from EA, Activision, etc... Then you'll be waiting for a long time. They still haven't got the hang of digital downloads. If it ain't from their online store, you're paying through the nose for it; if it is, you're still paying through the nose for it, but they're making a bigger profit.

Incidentally; £160 for 100 games in one year (give or take), I doubt you'd find value like that elsewhere. Even on GoG you're paying $6 (about £4, give or take) for "old games".

Sure, you can call me a "fanboi", but I'm completely impartial. By the same token, I could call you a troll, but that would just be name calling.
