 Re: Problems, Problems, Problems!
I agree, I have subbed to Metaboli on and off over the last few years and can't remember having so many problems then as I have now we have this new player.
Over the last week the service has been awful, occasionally games not running properly or refusing to run at all (Might and Magic as an example, I can run Might and Magic 6 just fine, and the Might and Magic 5 demo, but the M&M5 game from this site just crashes all the time) the player seems to want to install itself every day among other things.
Never had any of these problems with the older player, every game ran perfectly.
Today I log in, and the player reinstalls again but this time chokes up an error:
16 Bit MS-DOS Subsystem - C:\Windows\system32\ntvdm.exe Error while setting up environment for application.
Was playing games fine last night no problems at all.
System Specs: Windows XP SP3, Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 2.13Ghz, 2GB RAM, ATI 4670 HD Ultimate

Well, I deleted the player files in the Core directory and reinstalled the player seems to work fine now, but something very screwy is going on for sure....

 Re: Problems, Problems, Problems!
Hi,
the reason why your Player reinstalled itself is that we have been deploying some small patches in order to address a few issues reported by users.
In particular, the last release aimed to tackle that specific error:
16 Bit MS-DOS Subsystem - C:\Windows\system32\ntvdm.exe Error while setting up environment for application.
We are glad to hear it's working though we are sorry if you have experienced some difficulties.
Hope everyhting is alright now.

PLEASE! 1.Post every update on forum about fixes, WE users want to hear that. 2.Use better CMS for support: for example EasyVista would be 10x better than Eptica Self Service Module 3.Create Emergency Live Support for Metaboli members (for those people who have serius problems with metaboli service (player... etc) I don't know how big your company IS or how many employees it have but i can tell you this: 1. Metaboli is good idea (pay as you play) but it has BAD support (no offence) you need to have better support 2. WE users/subscribers need better care.

 Re: Problems, Problems, Problems!
Maybe the latest Player update (dating 02/02/2012) has not worked well on your PC. We suggest uninstalling the Player, then run this script to remove all they Yummy folders and make sure next time you land on your "My games" page, you are redirected to the Player installation. Download and run this script: http://dl.metaboli.fr/yummy/yummy_delete.batPlease run it as administrator (right-click on it once downloaded and choose Run as..-->Administrator). Your downloaded games will not disappear (if you are storing them in a non-Yummy folder). Plaese let us know if it helped. Thanks.

 Re: Problems, Problems, Problems!
I lost my games list two days ago, uninstalled the player and deleted all Yummy files I could find, restarted, reinstalled player, downloaded Plants/Zombies and my games reappeared (in downloading list). Clicked "On" on each and they moved to the downloaded list.
Everything worked normally yesterday.
Today, same problem again, no downloaded or downloading games, and can't download any games previously downloaded. This time I removed the player and ran the .bat file shown above. Reinstalled player, redownloaded Plants/Zombies and games list reappeared in downloading section.
So the fix works for me, but still a hassle, so hope for something better soon !
Running a skeleton XP SP3, Radeon 4200, Firefox 6.0

Nope gone again, worked for a week and then back to the old problem of not uploading my games list. Very very unpleasant playing experience.
