 Download Folder stuck I've set the Player to download to a big empty folder, but new downloads still go to the default Program Files/Common Files/Metaboli. The player can't find them there till I drag the games across to this empty folder. Then Metaboli starts re-downloading the game to the default folder !
Any ideas welcomed on how to persuade Metaboli to use MY folder instead of the default ? I've checked and rechecked that the Player is set to my empty folder! (Right click on icon, settings, change game download location

Re: Download Folder stuck Have not tried fiddling with this side of things myself since we had the new player released this week..
Don't have time at the moment but will have a fiddle in a couple of hours and see if i can prvide you with some help.

Re: Download Folder stuck hmm not sure why it's doing that my default path with the old player was C:\metaboli\games and when i changed to the new player it kept that path and games downloaded to it so not sure why you have a different default unless you changed the default path with the old player and the new one wasn't able to pick that up and such set up its new default path instead but that said it still doesn't explain why it wont let you change the download location.
I just tried changing the download path with one of the small casual games and it went to the folder i picked so i'm not sure why it's not for you.

Re: Download Folder stuck Thanks for the advice, touch wood, my last two downloads have gone straight to the correct folder, so maybe the glitch has cleared itself !
I didn't imagine it, 3 out of five previous downloads went wrong, despite the Player showing the correct folder ! Sequence was wrong, right, wrong, right, wrong, then I posted !
I'll come back if it happens again, but nice to know there are sympathetic ears out there !
