Why should it be fair if: 1. When I asked why my downloading speed is slow, I was told that I am not welcome here because I am not a resident of UK. 2. Why should I stay here if there are better services, for example: From Origin, Steam, I download with 3.5 MB per second. With metaboli downloader, I start downloading with high speed, then it drops to 100 kbps 3. Never had any virus issues with other services (greenmangaming, origin, steam, gamersgate) 4. All my 300~ steam\origin\gamersgate games works perfectly without any problems. Here in metaboli there were at least 5 games that didnt run. | |

Hi
1.Where in this thread did you mention that your download speed was slow? You were not told you were not welcome here because you are not resident in the UK.
In the thread about your speed issues it was explained to you that as you are not in the UK then you might not get decent download speeds as this version of metaboli is aimed at and set up for the UK.When signing up to the service you agreed to the terms and conditions.Part of those terms and conditions are that you are a resident of the UK.Metaboli are not responsible if you decide to ignore certian things and sign up anyway.Metashane in the past also pointed out to you that this service is aimed at the UK.
The following is taken from the terms and conditions.
"Metaboli.co.uk is an Internet site (thereafter referenced to as ‘Site’, ‘Website’) that offers UK residents"
Some of us took the time and trouble to help you get to the bottom of your speed issues.Do you think we did that for our own benefit? How is the help that you recieved from other members here telling you that you are not welcome? Members here like myself that don't work for metaboli have helped you on a few occasions.Just like i did in this thread. How is aiding some one not welcoming.Don't actions speak louder than words?
The only time you have been told that something has not been welcomed is when you openly admitted that you pirated a game as it was not working for you.You pirated the game before asking for any help.We then pointed out to you that this was illegal and not welcome. You then tried to defend you position not once not twice but many times despite the fact that what you had done was illegal.
2.Im not saying that you should or should not stay here and have never said that. That is a decision only you can make.In your opinion other services may be better but in my opinion they are not.As im resident in the UK and metaboli.co.uk is set up for the Uk i get awesome download speeds from them and always have.We are all entitled to our own opinion regarding anything.
3.I have never had a virus from metaboli and i have tried well over 400 games that the service has to offer.I have on the odd occasion had a false positive.I clearly explained how to deal with false positives in an above post.
4.You may very well have had a couple of issues with games here but that does not mean it is metaboli's fault that you did not manage to get them working.Out of the 400+ games i have played on this service i have only failed to get 2 games running. On both occasions the reason the game did not run was because of the hardware in my computer or the operating system i was using was incompatible.
Metaboli are not responsible for the hardware or the condition your PC is in.You are responsible for that.Just like i am for mine.
Now do i think you should stay here if you are not happy with the service. No i don't but you can't hold metaboli responsible for things that are outside of their control. They have NO influence over the network of your internet service provider.Your internet provider would not allow metaboli to have any influence over their network either. You and you alone made the decison to sign up to metaboli despite the fact you are not residing in the UK.
Why should it be fair that you blame metaboli for things that are outside of their control? My statement about being fair was based on what you had said in this thread alone and did not take into account any of your other threads.I also explained why i thought it was unfair what you had posted in this thread.Do you think i should have to read all of your threads before responding to one of them?
Steam and metaboli are uncomparable. One is a download to own service the other is a subscription service. One you pay a monthly fee for the other you buy games at their full price.
I could go into telling you the benefits of a service like metaboli but i rather suspect it would fall on deaf ears.
To my way of thinking metaboli provide an awesome service with value for money that can't be found anywhere else in the world.I just find it a shame that some people sign up to things without checking the terms and conditions first. Then after doing so they start making noises blaming everyone but themselves.Even when it is clear from the terms and conditions.
I think people should appraoch situations with an open mind. When signing up to services that are not aimed at the country that person is living in i don't think they should jump to the conclusion that the comapny are to blame. That is what you did when starting to find out about your download speeds.Blame should be based on fact rather than assumptions. The facts pointed towards your internet service provider as the cause of your speed issues and not metaboli. The traceroutes that laserfx and myslef helped you with point towards your isp.
Will metaboli be sorry to see you go.Im sure they will as they value each and every customer.Im sure if you decided to return in the future they would welcome you back with open arms.
