A day off??? But you french only work one day of the week... the rest you're either on holiday or striking... Jokes aside, enjoy your holiday (but not too much or we'll be jealous).

OK we're back and you guys should see a nice new post by EOD with the list of the latest releases. Thanks for the notes, I got to enjoy some nice fireworks (but the huge wave of people trying to go home in the subway afterwards was a nightmare Good thing I left a littler earlier to miss the worst of it )

Re: This week's games - postponed by a day
What what what... Never heard of St Etienne! We work on Boxing day, not like in the UK. So, one day less. Count is now 12 on to the next: In France, Good Friday is only observed in the Departments that once belonged to Germany: Bas-Rhin, Haut-Rhin and Moselle, along with some overseas departments such as Guadeloupe, Martinique, Guyane, and Réunion So check that one out. Count is now 11 May day was on a Sunday, and wasn't given back to us. Check that one out. Count is now 10 Victory in Europe Day was another Sunday, and wasn't given back to us. Check that one out. Count is now 9 White Monday can be worked, it all depends on the company's will. We were not given a holiday on that day, so check that one out. Count is now 8. Finally, Xmas will be on a Sunday, so won't be given back to us... Which makes for a total of 7 days this year. My initial comment still stands

Typical... England finally get an 8 - 7 score against France and still manages to lose...

So USUALLY you get more? just not this year St Etiene was listed where boxing day should be (26th dec), just figured it was a different name over there. Where its named over here because of the high domestic violence rate that happens on boxing day (it is the highest DV rate but not really named for that reason)
