Post Lucasarts
I was just wondering....what's the chances of Metaboli being able to get some of the old Lucasarts point and click games? Such as Day of the Tentacle, Sam and Max (I know some of the new ones are on here, and they're great, but so was the original) and The Dig. Those were some awesome games that pretty much started me out back in the day.

Post Re: Lucasarts
Lucas arts don't have the licence for sam and max any more taletale games do hence how they are able to make the current games.

besides that the games your asking for are very old DOS based games, to get them to work on modern systems would require DOS emulation software such as dos box so i'm afraid it wouldn't be possible via the Metaboli system.

Actually, Lucasarts have granted Telltale the license to create new games with Sam'n'Max, however they still retain the license to the original games... Just to set the point straight ;)

And since DosBox is an open-source software, there's no technical reason why the Metaboli engine couldn't be embedded into DosBox, as long as the proper GPL accreditations were given.
