Re: Street Fighter 4! Here comes a new challenger!
I haven't had any issues alt-tabbing out of SFIV, either in Vista or XP (which reminds me, it's a shame some stuff doesn't transfer over with the GFWL account - I have Sakura unlocked in XP, but not Vista, but the game runs better in Vista in general... Grrrrrr. On the flip side, recording in Vista halves the speed of the game, but doesn't in XP... Very Weird™)
GFWL has voice/text chat, you can invite another user into it.

ohh dont get me wrong you can alt-tab out, I just find that if you alt-tab out then go browsing the web, ie checking out the forums, occassionally it will close the game, doesnt always happen.

Actually, as Tuesday was a holiday in France, I wasn't there to organize the tourney. And, I needed to see who was in for the tourney. I guess it's just us 8 brawlers So, how it's going to go down is we're all going to fight each other in 99-seconds-three-round matches, and I'll entrust you with the task of posting the results of your matches to me in PM, stating the character you used, as well as the score. I will then post everything in a final recap, and announce the winner. Keyboard or no keyboard, as I've experienced both keyboard and pads, and find that there isn't a great difference, especially if like me, you've only played SF4 on your PS3, and there are no pads that are equivalent to the PS3 pad for the PC... Actually, yes there are - take your USB charging cable, and your PS3 pad, plug one end into the PS3 pad (the small one), the other end into your PC (the big one) - and Robert's yer mother's brother, you have a PS3 pad on your PC... And you might need this: http://news.filefront.com/how-to-use-a- ... r-on-a-pc/At least, that's the way it worked with the SIXAXIS pads, I don't know about the DualShock3s...

Re: Street Fighter 4! Here comes a new challenger!
Fair enough; I just know a few people who used the old SIXAXIS on PC, so it's possible the DS3 doesn't work the same way, which is a shame.
I know people who swear by the PS pads, and others (like me) who love the 360 pad. It's all about personal choice.
I don't mind getting recordings of my match(es) and hosting them somewhere.

Yes, I have to say, I tried playing with a 360 pad connected to the comp, and I just hated it. So, keyboard all the way for me. (at home I just use the Dualshocks with the PS3, no hassle) And, if you can host those matches, go ahead, no pbm

Actually I use a Logitech Dual Action controller.. its essentially the same as a PS2/3 contoller. Also rather cheap. It just wont give you the Sixaxis control meaning movement of the pad itself does nothing Still need Deimos and Hollywood to post thier LiveID
