Are you on Max settings or just the default? Just check motion Blur is set to high.. other than that it could be the "extra touch" setting, I leave this off, it just changes how some things look to looking like its been drawn in ink, painted in watercolour, or posterized. I prefer Off ;)

If it wasnt maximum settings then try it again on max.. your comp should still get good results.. I just cant see it being that off the scale.. as long as the game performs well for you then I wouldnt complain at all :D

One thing I've noticed is that most other people with nVidia cards who have been on "max settings" have had C16x QAA rather than just 8x AA - that's possibly where the difference is.

If I drop from C16x QAA to 8x AA (haven't changed the AF/Texture Filturing, which you don't specify), my benchmark goes up by about 25% - it's very process intensive.

Personally, I don't notice any difference between v-sync on/off, or with/out AA on my monitor, I think due to the way it works. In any case, I rarely go above 2x AA, if at all.

Im more the opposite. I dont use AA at all unless i can get 8xAA otherwise it just lowers my fps for what i see as not much improvement in jagged lines

Well I probably won't be joining you in the online tournament as I only play games where I can use mouse and keyboard and this doesn't look like one of them. It looks like one of them game pad things where you need 14 thumbs and 11 fingers on each hand and preferably 9 arms. :P

However I did do the benchmark thing as an exercise to see how my machine copes against everyone else and I was quite surprised at the outcome as I do have an older machine.

Default Settings:
SCORE: 9630
AVERAGE: 59.19FPS
OS: Windows XP Professional
CPU: AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5600+
Memory: 2528MB
Graphics Card: ATI Radeon HD 3800 Series AGP
Display Setting: 1280x1024 60Hz

Max Settings
SCORE: 4913
AVERAGE: 29.67FPS
OS: Windows XP Professional
CPU: AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5600+
Memory: 2528MB
Graphics Card: ATI Radeon HD 3800 Series AGP
Display Setting: 1280x1024 60Hz 8xAA

It should be playable on keyboard.. probly not mouse though. You would need 10 buttons at least.

The one thing I have noticed that I seem to be the only one here running the test at 1680x1050 22" monitor

Setting that aside different pc's some better graphics cards than mine and cpu's we all seem to have an average speed of 60FPS

Weird

You missed mine then - less powerful machine/graphics card, however.

With v-sync, you'll find that machines are capped at whatever the refresh rate of the monitor is (60 in our case), but with v-sync off, that can go sky high.
