hey guys i have downloaded Desperate Housewifes twice now and it will not play i click on play it somtimes goes onto a loading screen , then it just goes onto black screen then back to my games that i have on my acount , anyone els have this problem , if so anyone know how to fix it

have you got directx 9 on ur pc if you have try and install some updates for you computer usalay helps .

btw i've done some checking around seems DH has major issues with Vista compatibility it does work but is unstable to say the least.

Please post your PC specs aswell before posting a game issue as we need to know what your running the game on. to help further a DXdiag might be needed.

For windows XP click > Start > Run > type : DXdiag > in new screen click save information (might need to wait a few seconds depending on PC speed) > Save to desktop > open the text file it saves to > click edit > click Select all (or ctrl + A)> Ctrl + C to copy > Ctrl + P to paste it into your post.

For Vista click > Windows icon (bottom left) > Type DXdiag in search bar (at bottom) > click DXdiag that appears > in new screen click save information (might need to wait a few seconds depending on PC speed) > Save to desktop > Open the text file it saves to > click edit > click Select all (or ctrl + A)> Ctrl + C to copy > Ctrl + P to paste into your post.

I would say that your specifications are borderline for being able to run this game.

You could try ensuring that you shut down absolutely everything you can before running the game - that also means as many of those handy little tools that put icons in the system tray (bottom right of Windows taskbar) as you can safely do.

I'm going to make an educated guess that your hard drive is probably fairly full too by now - try clearing up as much space as you can on your hard drive and then defrag it.

ma harddrive aint anywere near full , i tryd the handy ticks that u gave and nuthing worked lol , this game doing my head in its 1 game i rellllly want to play

any uther ideas ?
