Re: The Ultimate Request List
Quote: Quote: An interesting idea for you.Have you thought about MMO's?Obviously you probably wouldnt be able to get a recent subscription based MMO in your list but there are some free (i.e. no monthly subscription fee) MMO's now such as Shadowbane and Anarchy Online which might be worth considering?
To be honest I think offering this would be a waste. For example Anarchy, while a decent game I dont see any reason for metaboli to use up space on the server, you can download the entire game from funcom. Its not like you can create your own server for it all metaboli can do with it is provide a download mirror which effectively will increase thier bandwith cost.
Hmm yes I do see your point. Ah well - just thought it might be an idea to introduce some folk to that genre of game who might not want to fork out money to buy the full game.

Why to people insist on punishing themselves.the french come to the UK site and moan because we've got some games they don't have and vice versa. But we're always working to keep the same games in all of the countries we work in (italy up at the end of sept).

Well, all you'll have to do is use this as extra ammunition for the negotiating tables Incidentally, I think it got lost earlier in the post, any news on Flight Simulator X? I've since read it's 14GB in size, so it's a huge chunk... but I don't know if MS would release that, despite releasing other things to Metaboli...

Re: Rise and Fall Civilizations at War.
as for flight sim x.well I knew it was going to be a bit big. this is perhaps a bit toooo big for download, I don't care if you've got a fibre optic connection 15 gig is big. (i mean that's 2 XP service packs for god's sake)

:D ROFL Nice one Well, I guess we'll wait and see on this one. I'm guessing since it's going to be one of the 'big draw' releases for Vista that Microsoft will want to do something special for it...I just know that even this isn't going to get me to upgrade to Vista
