bearing this in mind are we likely to loose any games from the service when all that can be converted have been.if that is the case is it possible to have a thread telling members which 1's are not abel to be converted giving members the chance to play those games before we loose them

That is something i think only Shane can really answer.. i'm not sure but i dont think they are getting rid of the 32bit player altogether so even if some games can't be converted they may still leave them on the service under 32 bit only but as i say i dont really know what metaboli have planned when that day comes.. and who knows maybe all the games can be converted.. fingers crossed and all that.

Re: Official 64-bit games request thread.
Thanks for the reply tera.i just thought as the 64bit player works on a 32bit system there would be no point in meta keeping the 32bit player when all the games that can be had been converted.Lets hope all can be

Ah, ok, that makes more sense. Thank you guys for answering my question. I didn't understand that it was the player as I joined after yummy was introduced. I can't even use the player (although it run in the backround for things) as I am on a University network and they have disabled peer-to-peer. So the player doesn't read any of the games I have downloaded, nor can I launch them that way, have to do it through the website. ô¿ô So I never really noticed the envolvment of the yummy player. Again, thanks guys.

Im sure Metaboli does their best with this and it seems to be quite a process for each game, I just feel that somewhere along the road the technical solution that was picked wasn't the best and it took too long time to find a 64 bit "platform" or take that decision. But that been said, I still think Metaboli is great and I really enjoy the service!

Re: Official 64-bit games request thread.
Calling Exent the 32bit player is a little bit of a misconception, if it was 32 bit it would work on a 64bit platform, so just for technical clarity Exent - 16bit Yummy - 32bit x84 (32bit) O/S - Can run 16bit and 32bit x64 (64bit) O/S - Can run 32bit and 64bit

Also, Maelmoor, the fact is that their aren't a lot of people doing this kind of application, so it was hard to find and even harder to deploy...

I can imagine that, so keep up the good work, I like the direction you have chosen

Hello all, we've now made Fable and Fallout 2 64-bit compatible! Enjoy, I know you've been asking for Fable for a loooong time
