Has anyone come across the following errors:-

"Error during launch of game" when trying to play any game

"An error occured 1100, please try again" when trying to download any game

My account was OK up until Saturday evening but since then I get the above errors when trying to launch any game or dowload new ones.

I have the most recent version of the Metaboli player installed and get these errors on Vista, XP, Internet Explorer, Firefox and on more than one computer, i.e. I think the issue must be with Metaboli not my computers.

Have emailed support but as yet no response, even though their 48 hour response time has elapsed.

Any thoughts on how to solve would be appreciated.

Sorry to hear that you are having the same problem but useful to know that I'm not the only one to be suffering this problem.

Will let you know if I get this resolved. However, I'm not optimisitic as the contact I've now had from support has been limited to advice on how to install the new software Metaboli introduced in early March even though my emails to them clearly state that I had this new software running for 10 days before these errors ocurred!

So, I can only conclude that they are not taking this problem seriously.

Sadly, it looks as though my only option will be to cancel my subscription as there is no point paying for a service that I cannot use. This will be a shame as this is a good service when it is working.

Try uninstalling the C++ Runtime via Add/Remove Programs then reinstalling the player.

I don't think that my installation of the new player software is the problem as a) I had the new software working up until last Saturday afternoon and b) these errors only appeared on Saturday evening and occured on both machines that I use to access Metaboli.

I have even tried a clean install of XP on a third machine but to no avail.

So, I'm convinced that there is something wrong with my account configuration on the Metaboli servers but getting their support team to recognise this is a challenge.

Sorry to hear you have the same problem.

I've given up and cancelled my subscription as I have had not had a satisfactory response from support -they've had a full working week to look at this but I'm still awaiting any sign of an acknowledgement that there is an issue they need to fix.

All I've had is 2 "cut and paste" emails with instructions on how to install the new software, which is not the problem (see above) and they have not given me any confidence that they understand the problem and are willing to investigate.

Hope you get this solved - will keep an eye on the forum as I would consider rejoining when I can access the games I have paid for.

Just to let you know that my account is now working again on both my PCs.

I'd be interested to know what the solution was as I'm having the same issue.
