Hey,

I've downloaded Divinity Dragon II but cannot get it to launch. If I click play on the website I get the spinning thing for ages and nothing happens... If a navigate to the installed files and run the launcher also nothing happens. There are no error messages or anything.

I am running Windows 7 64bit so I have downloaded and installed the VCRedist_2005_x64 package.

My graphics card is an ATi Radeon HD 5770 so I wasn't sure if I needed the nVidia PhysX download but I have installed it anyway.

Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated, I would love to try this game!

Did you try installing direct x from the games own page?

This can sometimes install older direct x files that are needed.

You would need the physx drivers even with an ati card.They will just work in software mode and be run from the cpu rather than hardware mode using an nvidia card.

Yea your system specs should be more than enough to run the game.

If you have installed direct x then let me know and ill try to advise a few more things.

This is a gem of a game, playing it myself at the moment.

Turns out the problem was with DirectX, not sure what exactly but I used the updater on the Microsoft website and all works fine now.
