Post Boxing Day Release: Go nuts, shoot some worms
Earthworm Jim 3D has been added to the Ultimate Collection, as well as Crazy Machines 2 as a bonus. Flatout 2 has been added to the Essential Collection.

New this week to the Ultimate Collection: Earthworm Jim 3D. Collect your 3D Golden Udders.
Earthworm Jim 3D is to date the last game in the Earthworm Jim series. Created by Interplay and based more on the TV series than what the previous games had in them, (anyone for good old Jim on Megadrive, and exploding grannies?) Earthworm Jim 3D was released for the PC (and the Nintendo 64, but that really isn’t of any matter here). You play the role of Jim, the Earthworm, who has to face his fears, in his own mind!

And new this week to the Essential Collection: Flatout 2. Adrenaline fuelled destruction in this racer.
Explosions and silliness are the name of this game, you'll be burning your way through 60 different tracks with over 30 different cars and trucks. In FlatOut 2 the name of the game is to destroy and win; destroy the rest of the competition and win the race, and with fully destructible vehicles and environments vehicular chaos ensues. And that's before you add the minigames where ejecting your driver through the windscreen comes in...

And as a bonus this week to the Ultimate Collection: Crazy Machines 2. You like your crazy nerve-wracking, brain twisting puzzles don’t you? Ha well, too bad if you don’t coz you’ll be served a whopping number of them in Crazy Machines 2. The goal in Crazy Machines 2 is to solve a seemingly simple problem (cook a hot dog, pop a balloon) by constructing a ‘Heath Robinson’ type machine. To know more about these machines, read on: A Heath Robinson machine is a deliberately over-engineered apparatus that performs a very simple task in a very indirect and convoluted fashion, usually using a chain reaction.

And a merry Christmas, and a happy new year to all!
