From Deep Red the guys behind the hit Beach Life, comes the great looking and metropolis building Tycoon City New York.
In the driving seat of NYC you've got two game types: Sand-box and Build New York. Sand-box does what it says on the tin; you've got the whole of Manhattan to play with and building your New York is on the books.
Build New York pits you as an entrepreneur set to take the biggest slice of the Big Apple's pie as possible and is a much more objective based game. With objectives dictated by your sixty thousand odd populace (each with their own wants and needs), you'll need to set the right building in the right place to make the cash and beat your competitors.
Filling the objectives will unlock tourist attractions and parades for your New York, from building the Empire State to putting everything together for the (slightly re-named) Thanksgiving's day parade.
Building the right building isn't enough though; you've got to improve it too. With the right improvements the simplest internet café can become the neighbourhood's hot communication spot and then the cash will really start rolling in.
Thanks to its great user friendly interface Tycoon City New York will let you get right in there. From the minute you select the building type you want you'll see its potential sphere of influence as well as how happy the surrounding populace are with it, all on screen straight away.
And then why take the macrocosm way when you can zoom right into the microcosm and listen to what citizen lambda thinks of your new comedy-night-spot over the traditional NYC taxi horns ("just not funny enough" - thanks, bloody Yank).
