Very much trying to like this one. There is a problem with win 7 go to personalize--->display---set icons to smaller(100%) log off and log back on. If not then the mouse either freezes or vanishes at startup. This is from the forum in the official site. Visually it is beautiful, not stunning like Oblivion though. You have a massive choice of 1 character which is what you are stuck with all the way through. except multiplayer. The voice acting, probably due to the terrible script, is atrocious! The controls are clunky. There is a first person view...until you go to combat when it zooms out to a low isometric view, a sort of half OTS third person. Combat: the enemies are in groups of at least three any one of which has the capacity to take a third to half your HP in one shot. I have progressed by luring enemies to shrines, as when you die, which is about ten seconds into each combat, you are ressurected at a shrine. If you are too far from enemies they have time to re-generate HP. A combat typically is about six strokes of your sword, die, ressurect, repeat. I think the storyline may be good but the tedium of constant death doesn't allow for comfortable interaction with the plot. Oh did I say the voice acting is awful and the script terrible! Aye prithee foresooth 'tis I believe I hast! As this is the wonderful METABOLI and the games are effectively rented try it you may gel with it better than I did...verily!
