Already ten years into her career and not one wrinkle? we really should be asking her what creams she uses. After all with everything that she's done; several times around the world, surveyed dozens of ruins and old civilizations, fought giant T-Rexs and other nasty beasties, died once, reappeared, renovated, underwent some face lifts (and some, um chest... lifts). In short she's a gaming icon, but we all knew that already.
You've really got to get down on your knees and thank Crystal Dynamics (the guys originally behind the Legacy of Kain series, for this excellent revival and that of the oh-so-excellent Tomb Raider Legend that bought the Tomb Raider series back to life. And the choice to remake the first game, well that's simple; it's the best one, hence the name Anniversary.
Anyway to the game in itself; you'll be on the search for Atlantis through Peru, Greece and Egypt like in the first game. But you won't be doing the same puzzles as the original because they too have been updated with new physics engines and the like, and the game still maintains the excellent gameplay of the original.
A perfect return to form for Lara, and we can only finish this review by saying; let's have another 10 years of this, please.
