Stronghold Crusader Extreme takes the word Extreme to an all new level. You will be able to wage wars on a massive scale, with humongous hordes of crusaders (over 10000 at the same time! I kid you not, kind Sir!) bringing the pain to the gates of exotic cities. Extreme is indeed the word here, as new battles, new outposts and new tactical powers will have to be mastered by the fledgling crusader in order to carry out his holy quest. For those who have never experienced the madness that is Crusader, you will be pleased to know that you can catch up on this classic strategy game, and in an updated form featuring all the previously released limited edition content, such as the second crusader trail and all 8 new AI opponents.

I have to agree with Dogsballx. Loved the original Stronghold/Crusader games, for their quirky feel, like a puzzle with soldiers, with no micro-management of settlers (akin to Settlers series, vs Age Of Empires). This however is only 'playable' if you rush to eliminate the modifications (barracks unleashing waves of opponents) and reduce it to the original Crusader, which was frankly much more pleasure to play. Can we have that one instead, please?
