Normally a good sniper game would get me all excited and so did this when I first got it. However the initial excitement is quickly replaced by frustration as the enemy can spot you a mile away whilst you're wearing a ghillie suit, laying down in heavy vegetation and not moving. I also have an issue with how the game was proclaimed to be free-roaming by the developers when they first tooted the horn about this. There is nothing free roaming about it. You're forced to move from point A to point B and you have only one or two paths to go to get there. In the middle of the game just as you're getting over the frustrations with the game, they drop you into the role of a gun toting US Special Forces. You have no sniper rifle any more, no silenced weapons. It's just you and an assault rifle and some other guys who'll shoot at anything that moves. Frustrating! It's hardly a new Sniper Elite. Sorry folks!
