The world's greatest detective is on his own this time as Watson has some special business to take care of, but as you'll be controlling the sleuth through this adventure who needs Watson.
Once you get to Montcalf mansion a host of puzzles and traps await you, each requiring a turn of events like any other good point and click adventure game. With timed and non timed puzzles some may be a little on the challenging side for people not used to adventure game logic, but still fans and new comers to the genre will find a decent solid adventure in the Mystery of the Mummy.

Graphically the game follows the Sherlock Holmes style quite well with oil lamps and tapestries and the like, and the different puzzles with different archaeological roots are a pleasure to complete. A simpler version of Sherlock than , Mystery of the Mummy will keep any adventure gamer entertained.
