This is by the same people that did Gothic 1 - 3 (but not 4). It has a similar look and feel but it flows better. There is an overall logic to the quests, which are more than the usual fetch this and kill that (for instance, one quest thread is a murder mystery). The combat system is clever and makes you work to defeat enemies (LBM, repeat endlessly will get you killed). With a low weapon skill you can only hack at your foes, but as you gain skill levels then you can parry, counter attack, slice, spin. In order to complete some dungeons you must overcome tricks and puzzles, it can always be done but you need to engage your brain. I heartly recommend this to anyone with a pulse and a sword arm.
