Mechwarrior is back and this time you're in it for the money. You have to build a team of mercenary Mechwarriors equip them with the right tools to do the job (that would be the walking tanks), then lead them in your own customised mech to go around the universe fulfilling contracts for factions in a civil war where you can pick your side(s). Mechwarrior 4: Mercenaries is mainly fights between your team of giant walking tanks and other Mechs, but when there is so much scope in your mech's load out, the way you use your team mates and the effects of the terrain it makes for a seriously open ended game.
