Liked blood omen 2. Thought this would be better. Unfortunately the controls and the camera in this game make it unplayable. It is probably the most annoying and unpredictable game to play. The camera literally has a mind of its own. So did not get to find out if it was any good because I stopped after like 10 min.

I've never given anything a zero but I feel I have to in this case. It has nice graphics, I'm told the storyline is very good (haven't been able to find out!) and you get to play a vampire. Should be a winner. BUT! The controls are worse than atrocious. Like someone else said, left suddenly becomes forward at the whim of the camera. I don't think the camera itself is the problem, the person doing the camera has done a good job. The problem is linking camera change to controls. A quick scenario: you jump left and a nanosecond into your jump the camera swings 90 degrees and you actually end up jumping forward. You can never predict what the camera will do first time so you spend half your time learning when and in what way the camera changes angle. Result? Jump left, one nanosecond swing round on your stick at the same rate the camera is moving but in the other direction and stop when it is exactly 90 degrees from the starting position. That is how you make a straight jump, it should follow that it is impossible in all but theory (the camera moves fast). Heaven help anyone trying to play this game with keys, I don't even want to think about the odds of making a jump in that case.

Do not be put off by the negative reviews on this page. L.O.K.Defiance is a cracking game with really nice graphics. The camera isn't that hard to get used to, I would well recommend downloading it.

just like devil may cry

this game is crap, on the part were you first play as raziel you have to escape a chamber going upwards...the camera naffs this all up!It generally makes it almost impossible to play this part and as soon as i got to it,after about twenty tries i just gave up.

The most ludicrous control mechanism I've seen. When you move from one room to the next, suddenly 'forward' becomes 'left' because the camera swaps view. I quit after less than a minute playing it.

Fantastic game, one of the greatest and immersive of all storylines, superb voice acting, great visuals considering it was released at the end of 2005. I strongly suggest you play Sould Reaver 1 & 2 before you commit to this game. A little more hack and slash than the aforementioned Soul Reaver games but none the less a must play game.

I'm a huge fan of the LoK series...This one was a little dissapointing. After all the free camera movement in Blood Omen 2 and Soul Reaver 1 and 2, the camera angles in this let it down. The story was brilliant though. It's still definatly one to play as it does bring a nice end to an extremely complex and imaginative storyline.

Overall its a good game, i just find the camera angles i bit difficult to get used to.

Difficult controls to begin with, but after i got used to the interface, controls and the camera movements, it became a fantastic game, good storyline and cool battles.
