Using the concept of a flashback, players can relive the days of the original Hitman game with the latest improvements to the game play. Don't be deceived though, many of the original's missions have been tweaked so they aren't just a simple rehash. Additionally there are numerous new missions for you to complete.
Straight away you know that this game is not for the weak hearted, the cinematic intro is as dark as dark can be, in game the modern art blood splatters and the sinister music only accentuates this sombre world of death. The first mission takes place in an asylum where 47 was made (yes, he's genetically enhanced), and since he just killed his maker (oops!), the building is now surrounded by a SWAT team waiting to take you out. As the assault begins, you can dress up as a patient and feign madness, steal a SWAT uniform and mix in with your killers, or find a sniper rifle and take down the SWAT team from the rooftop.
As you would expect from a Hitman game, you are free to play 47 in your own style, ranging from Silent Assassin to Mass Murderer, the choice is yours. Live through 12 bloody nightmares as you remember missions from an S&M nightclub, arctic naval base and your first assignments in Hong Kong.

Graphics-wise this game is pretty to say the least with the only thing missing being the reflection on baldies' head. Complete with a custom tailored electronic soundtrack that changes with the action, Hitman Contracts details the experience of a professional killer like no other game in existence.
