This game does exactly what it says it will do. It is an excellent simulation of Truck Driving. Unfortunately, the developers forgot that actually, in real life, being a wagon driver is very boring. Once you get over the initial buzz of actually driving a truck you end up facing billions of miles of road ahead. This game has you visiting various depot's in order to acquire a contract to deliver some goods for a fee, your wages. The job money is not very high and there is usually not much difference in the actual jobs you take. Lots of different goods all go in a standard arctic, which is what you can drive in the beginning so it makes no difference whether you're taking eggs or icecream or bread. The differences come when you want to take the very slightly higher paid jobs of delivering liquids in tankers. For this there are three classes of license, which you basically just buy when you can afford it. They are very pricy really and take a long time to get, with little benefit apart from a few extra pounds for your contracts. Buying a new truck also takes a very long time to achieve due to the prices. The graphics look ok but the actual effort put into making it a visual game is zero. All the countries look pretty much the same apart from one little snowy bit which is over the Alps in Europe. Spain is very similar to England, and Poland etc. You see a slight difference when approaching a city on the skyline but apart from that everywhere is the same all over. The garages are the same, the depots. The actual road Network is very minimal Eg. England has M6, M1 and M25. As I write this I seem to be the Metaboli top player of this game and I have played it for 26 hours in all so far. The next best is 2 hours. In the 26 hours I have got the third level of achievement out of five in all but I doubt I will get to the end. I was giving this game a chance to see if things changed as the game progressed, but sadly, it doesn't. Let's hope the developers take note and make it a bit more exciting in the future as it could be a good game with more thought. Driving the wagons is not as easy as it seems.
