Killing me softly

With Assassin's Creed all your sneaky, stealthy and killer instincts will be satisfied, as the aim here is to roam the holy land, and get your killing on, in the most discrete way possible. Quick as a cat and agile as a panther you'll have to defy gravity (and morals) as you move around this huge environment of a game. Obviously, some foolish guards will try and stand in your way, but this game is about dispatching people so you'll be thrilled to dish out some quality violence with your assassin blades.

Conclusion: An absolutely beautiful game to look at, a captivating storyline and very entertaining. A must see for all. The one major criticism is its repetitive tasks, but this can be overcome by playing it over time rather than 'all at once'. Disclaimer: This is my opinion and I mark hard. I have a minimum expectation for "entertainment, first and foremost". I do not see the point in rating EVERYTHING at 4 or 5 stars. Score explanations (age fairness policy): 0=Don't go there; 1=I told you so; 2=a patient person may get some fun; 3=average game(minimum expectation); 4=good game; 5=exceptional game, I can think of no improvements [do not expect me to award this mark]. Graphics: technical(excellent); artistic(excellent) Game Controls: Very good, user setup allowed. Takes a while to get used to. Climbing is a matter of trust in your hero's skill. Player training module: Very interesting, part of the storyline. I liked this a lot. Sound: technical(excellent); artistic/ambient(excellent) Gameplay: I really enjoy this game. I have to criticize the repetitive tasks: climbing towers, saving citizens, etc. More variety in each region would have made me think about an 'impossible' 5. A narrative: I will note this often, a game should be entertaining, first and foremost. I should look at it and want to play it again and again, not see it as a chore. With Assassin's Creed this is exactly what I got, full marks. I was hooked from the beginning and played for several hours non-stop. However, I discovered I could get more enjoyment by playing this one over time, thus reducing the (only) irritation of the repetitive tasks. This game allows me to enter the world of make-believe and, with minimal navigation, perform the most outrageous feats. I truly felt I was rescuing maidens (well, old crones and dudes) from the nasty foe and leaping from rooftop to rooftop. I really, really enjoy this game.
