Sea, speed and fun
In racing games there's TrackMania, and then there's everyone else. Following on from the excellent TrackMania Power-Up, TrackMania Sunrise Extreme pushes the style to its true limits with three new, sun lapped, environments each with their own cars, style and construction blocks, new game modes, like the new stunt mode inspired by skateboarding, skin editors, level editors and replay editors for the ultimate in crazy full speed racing. And once you've finished the single-player you can go online to take on the thousands of other trackmaniacs on the net.

Our Review:
Trackmania the internationally acclaimed arcade racer, forgetting the concepts of realism and simulation, it's as arcadey as you like, with crazy tracks (with loop-de-loops, jumps and the like) super fast cars, and no limit to the number of racers on screen at the same time.
This version of TrackMania is a work of fine art, a game that will really tickle your optic nerve with its amazing textures and shaders (and the water, oh lord) but it'll also bring out the gamer in you. Over three wildly different environments, each with their own car, style and handling you'll be playing through some crazy competitions above and beyond that of the simple race. Also included is the eXtreme expansion, giving you even more blocks to build your circuits and nine pre-made super circuits to race.
Here it's well and truly no holes barred racing. Without car on car collisions TrackMania is all about one thing: skill. Training is the key to success, whether in single player or against the thousands of other players on the net every day.
Like the other games in the series, Sunrise gives you your load of editors. Be it replays, skins or maps, each is so easy to use that you'll be plugging away hours making your own creations (look at the trailer for an example - it's almost entirely done with the in-game tools). And with the TM community now a full fledged internet being, there is literally no limit to the number of user created cars, maps and vids to download, giving this game an infinite lifetime.
Some users may encounter incompatibility problems with out of date Starforce digital drivers on TrackMania Sunrise. If you do encounter this incompatibility, we advise that you remove any previous version of Starforce from your PC using this removal tool to allow the most recent version to install with the game.
